  • Duomo, Uffizi and Accademia
  • One option per module
  • E-tickets by e-mail

The Florence Pass sold by Tiqets is a package rather than a day pass: three modules with one option each, the Duomo as a cathedral tour, as the bell tower with the Baptistery or as the dome climb, then the Uffizi Gallery with priority entrance and the Accademia Gallery, each at the time slot you pick.

What is not included

Buying and using

How the Florence Pass works

Everything is settled at booking, from the options to the last time slot.

  1. 1

    Choose options and slots

When you book you pick the start date, the number of travellers, one option in each of the three modules and a time slot for every part.
  2. 2

    Receive the e-tickets

Tiqets sends the tickets by e-mail with QR codes and the link to the Florence audio guide app. Your phone is enough at each entrance.
  3. 3

    No refund, no new date

The package is sold without a refund and the slots cannot be moved, because every module is reserved for you. Book it once your dates are firm.

Weighing it up

What speaks against the Florence Pass, and who it is for

Against it: the package turns a day in Florence into a row of appointments, and once booked nothing can be refunded or moved, so a late train or a closed gallery is your risk. The dome climb is the premium choice of the Duomo module and costs extra, so the entry price buys you a cathedral tour or the bell tower instead. Buyers give it the weakest rating of the Florence passes, mostly over the logistics of the time slots and over queues at the dome that the priority label did not shorten. There is no bus, no public transport and no museum beyond the three modules, and the audio guide runs in an app, so bring headphones and a charged phone.

For whom: a first visit of one or two days with firm dates, where the cathedral, the Uffizi and the Accademia are the whole plan and you would rather settle all three at once than queue for each. The 10 per cent voucher for later Tiqets bookings is a small extra, not a reason to buy.

Alternatives: if the dome is the goal, the Brunelleschi Pass is the only ticket that opens it and covers the Baptistery, the bell tower and the museum for 3 calendar days. Without the Duomo, the Uffizi & Accademia Pass keeps the two galleries alone; with days instead of appointments, the Florence City Pass spreads the visit. The comparison puts the passes side by side, the prices page shows what each one charges, and the Florence pass comparison starts the choice from the top.

FAQ

Questions about the Florence Pass

Short answers for this package, everything else on the FAQ page.

Does the Florence Pass take me up the dome? +

Only if you choose it. The Duomo module gives you one of three options: a guided tour of the cathedral, the bell tower with the Baptistery, or the dome climb as the premium option at a surcharge. If the dome is your main goal, the Brunelleschi Pass is built around it.

Can I change the date after booking? +

No. The time slots are reserved when you book and the package is neither refundable nor movable to another date. If your plans may still shift, a pass with a range of days such as the Florence City Pass is the safer buy.

Is a bus or public transport included? +

No. The package covers the three modules and nothing else. The old centre of Florence is walkable, and buses and trams are bought separately, as the public transport page sets out. Which pass opens which house stands on the attractions page.
