No pass covers every sight in the city. Here you see, house by house, which pass gets you in and which one leaves the ticket to you.
The Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery with Michelangelo's David are the two houses every pass is built around. The Firenzecard carries both as part of the city circuit. The Uffizi & Accademia Pass is nothing but those two, each with a reserved time slot. The Florence Pass makes each of them a module with a choice of entry, audio guide or guided tour. The Florence City Pass preselects both tickets in the basket and reserves the slots at purchase, which is also what lifts its starting price. The Florence Flex Pass offers both as choices among its two to seven picks, with the time slots reserved through the pass tool. Whichever route you take, entry is timed, and the single Uffizi ticket shows what the gate asks without a pass.
The cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is free to enter. Everything else on the square is not, and it is sold by the Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore alone: Brunelleschi's dome, Giotto's bell tower, the Baptistery, Santa Reparata below the nave and the Opera del Duomo Museum. The Brunelleschi Pass is the only pass that opens all of them, and the dome exists in no other product except the premium option of the Florence Pass Duomo module. The Opera sells two narrower passes beside it, the Giotto Pass without the dome and the Ghiberti Pass for the Baptistery, the museum and Santa Reparata.
The city's own circuit reaches much further than the commercial packages. Palazzo Vecchio, the Pitti Palace, the Boboli Gardens, the Bargello, the Medici Chapels and the Brancacci Chapel are all on the Firenzecard, together with the special exhibitions running in those houses. None of them is part of the Tiqets packages, and the Florence City Pass takes a different road through the city instead, with the Museo di San Marco, the Museo degli Innocenti, Casa Buonarroti, Orsanmichele, the National Archaeological Museum, the Leonardo Interactive Museum and Palazzo Strozzi at a discount.
Public transport is outside every Florence pass, and the hop-on hop-off bus is a paid add-on of the City Pass rather than an inclusion, as the public transport page explains. The dome is outside every museum pass. And the mosaics of the Baptistery ceiling are currently hidden behind the restoration scaffolding, so the Baptistery you enter today is not the one in the photographs.
Timed entry runs the visit. The Uffizi and the Accademia admit visitors in booked slots whatever they hold, and the dome climb is booked for a fixed time on the first day of the Brunelleschi Pass, with five minutes of lateness tolerated at the meeting point. The bell tower, the Baptistery, Santa Reparata and the cathedral museum take no reservation and can be used on any of the 3 days. Watch the closing days as well: the Uffizi, the Accademia and the Pitti Palace close on Mondays, the Opera del Duomo Museum on the first Tuesday of the month, and the whole Duomo complex on 25 December, 1 January and Easter Sunday.

Brunelleschi's dome. It belongs to the Opera del Duomo, and the only way up is the Brunelleschi Pass or the premium option of the Florence Pass Duomo module. The Firenzecard and the Florence City Pass stop at the edge of the Piazza del Duomo.
At the Uffizi, the Accademia and the dome, yes. The pass replaces the ticket, not the slot. Turbopass and Tiqets book the museum slots with your purchase, the Firenzecard lets you take the Uffizi slot in its app at no extra charge, and the Brunelleschi Pass fixes the dome slot for the first day of validity.
It needs no pass. Entry to Santa Maria del Fiore is free, and the queue at the door is the only price. What costs money is everything around it: the dome, Giotto's bell tower, the Baptistery, Santa Reparata and the Opera del Duomo Museum, all of them on the Brunelleschi Pass or on one of its sister passes.
Open the pass that covers your list and read the full inclusions on its page before you book.
